Notes from David

This was a fascinating experience. I got called in very last minute to assist composer extraordinaire Howard Drossin - essentially, to organize and manage the recording sessions, as well as keep track of the score since it was in the process of being re-orchestrated at the last second. One highlight was coaching Norm Lewis as he was singing "Oh, What a Beautiful Morning" to the original film orchestrations, in classic Hollywood soundstage style - huge orchestra, and a giant screen showing picture. Thrilling.
